A practice built on understanding first

MY STORY

Blake Gannon is the founder and lead practitioner of Pathways Allied Health. With a background in mental health, disability services, and complex psychosocial care, he combines genuine human connection with evidence-based practice. Blake is currently in his third year of a Bachelor of Psychology, integrating current psychological research with extensive frontline experience.

Having grown up in rural Queensland, Blake understands the barriers regional communities face in accessing quality support. That experience inspired Pathways' commitment to delivering accessible, person-centred behaviour support across rural and regional Australia.

Blake founded Pathways on the belief that behaviour support can be done differently. Too often, behaviours of concern are managed without first understanding what they are communicating.

His approach is grounded in a simple principle: behaviour is communication. Every functional behaviour assessment and behaviour support plan begins with understanding the person's story, strengths, relationships, and what a meaningful life looks like to them.

Before founding Pathways, Blake worked as both a support worker and support coordinator, giving him a practical understanding of how disability supports operate day-to-day. This combination of academic training and real-world experience enables him to develop behaviour support plans that are practical, collaborative, and designed to make a genuine difference.
